Jennifer Doan, an American producer, was amazed by the remarkable transformation of Vietnam since her last visit between 2002 and 2007. "I vividly remember how bumpy Highway 1 was, but the drone shots in the film showcased the tremendous progress, from the high-rise buildings in Saigon to the modern highway scenes," she said. "It's time for me to plan my next trip back to Vietnam soon."

Peter McMahon, an American fitness coach, shared the same sentiments, saying, "I was thrilled to see the parts of Vietnam that I had visited and curious about the parts that I hadn't. The movie has portrayed cultural traditions so beautifully, such as the preparations for the Lunar New Year."

"A Tourist's Guide to Love" narrates the story of Amanda, a Los Angeles-based travel executive played by Rachael Leigh Cook, who visits Vietnam as a tourist to scrutinize a local tourism agency. Along the way, she meets Sinh, a local tour guide played by Scott Ly, and alters her itinerary based on his recommendations. The film was shot in many of Vietnam's top tourist destinations, including Ben Thanh Market in HCMC, the My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An ancient town, Da Nang, and Hanoi's Temple of Literature.

Foreign audiences have been inspired to visit Vietnam after watching the movie, with many stating that the film was a "catalyst" for their love of the country.

French-German translator Joyce visited all the tourist destinations featured in the movie during her trip to Vietnam in January. "I fell in love with the culture, the kindness of the locals, and the breathtaking

landscapes of Vietnam," she said.

"After watching the movie, we related to the main character who experienced the same difficulties that we faced. It made us laugh a lot."Nigerian viewer Victor was impressed by the Tet traditional customs and the hospitality of the Vietnamese people. "Keeping traditions alive has always been a motto for my people, and seeing the Vietnamese do the same makes me want to plan a trip as soon as possible," he said.

Tourism insiders are hopeful that the Hollywood movie project will help boost Vietnam's image as a safe and friendly destination, just like "Kong: Skull Island" did for Trang An Landscape Complex of Ninh Binh, caves in central Vietnam, and Ha Long Bay in 2017. Vietnam is truly a gem worth exploring, and "A Tourist's Guide to Love" is an excellent starting point for those who wish to discover the country's beauty and charm.
