Hoi An Secures Spot Among World's Premier Honeymoon Destinations in 2024

The charming city of Hoi An in Quang Nam province has proudly earned its place among the top 25 Honeymoon Destinations of 2024, according to the prestigious Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards.

Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, revealed that Tripadvisor's rankings are derived from tourist reviews spanning the past 12 months.

Bali (Indonesia) claimed the top spot with its extensive beaches adorned with fine white sand and picturesque landscapes. Hoi An secured the second position, standing out as the sole Vietnamese representative on the list.

Other esteemed destinations featured in the ranking include the Maldives, the Republic of Dominica, Mauritius, Khao Lak (Thailand), Santorini (Greece), and Venice (Italy), among others.

These sought-after locations are renowned for offering honeymooners enchanting landscapes and romantic dining experiences.

The list is part of Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best 2024, celebrating destinations with outstanding restaurants, hotels, and entertainment activities that exceed visitors' expectations. Less than 1% of the 8 million applications receive the Best of the Best recognition.

Hoi An, once a bustling trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to the 19th centuries, has grown into a beloved stop for travelers, particularly attracting visitors from Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea. On the 14th day of every lunar month, the city hosts the "Full Moon Night in the Old Town" and other festivals, with vibrant lanterns casting a romantic glow along the river, showcasing the traditional charm of the ancient city.
