Prior to this transformative decision, Vietnam had been granting 30-day single-entry e-visas exclusively to citizens from 80 designated countries. Now, with the implementation of the new e-visa system, facilitated by the Vietnam Immigration Department's electronic transaction system, visitors will gain access to multiple entries within a span of 90 days. This landmark development is set to streamline travel logistics and further bolster Vietnam's global appeal.

Vietnam's airports will stand as welcoming gateways for e-visa holders. A distinguished list of thirteen airports, including Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang,  Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Phu Bai, Van Don, Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Phu Cat, and Lien Khuong. In a parallel move that underlines Vietnam's openness to the world, the government has also chosen to extend visa-free stays. This extension, increasing the duration from 15 to 45 days, applies to citizens from thirteen countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the U.K., Northern Ireland, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belarus. This welcoming policy aims to attract not only tourists but also investors, businesses, and researchers, forging global connections and fostering mutual growth.

As Vietnam opens its doors wider and extends its hospitality, a promising future of enriched cultural exchange, economic collaboration, and scientific exploration beckons.
