Welcome to Hoa Lo Prison Museum
A somber reminder of Vietnam's tumultuous past, the Hoa Lo Prison Museum stands as a witness to the country's struggle for independence. Once known as the Hanoi Hilton, this prison was notorious for holding American POWs during the Vietnam War. Today, visitors can walk through the cells and see the conditions that prisoners endured, as well as learn about the prison's history from the French colonial period to the Vietnam War.
