Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, Oct. 25, 2024 - Vietravel, Vietnam's largest travel corporation, signed a cooperation agreement with Vingroup to promote green transformation, sustainable development, and enhance Vietnamese brands.
Under this comprehensive agreement, both parties, along with companies within their ecosystem, will closely collaborate to promote environmentally friendly tourism and mobility, providing tourists with green experiences and fostering sustainable living.
In the field of sustainable tourism, Vietravel and Vingroup will explore the use of VinFast electric cars and VinBus electric buses to transport tourists. The Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) and the For Green Future Joint Stock Company, both partners of Vingroup, will collaborate with Vietravel to implement green vehicle services for tours, flights, and suitable tourism products. Additionally, Vinpearl and VinWonders will consider offering plastic-free tourism packages to create unique experiences for Vietravel's customers.
In the field of green mobility, Vietravel is supporting Vingroup's strategy for green transformation, specifically through the "Fierce Vietnamese Spirit - For a Green Future" program. The two organizations will collaborate to organize electric vehicle test drive events, develop charging infrastructure, and encourage employees to utilize environmentally friendly vehicles for all travel purposes.
