The conference's mission is to heighten awareness and comprehension of responsible tourism among travel agencies concerning the natural environment. It aims to foster participation and interdisciplinary collaboration between forest rangers, the tourism industry, and the private sector to curtail the demand for illegal wildlife products.

Nationwide, ecotourism activities in special-use forests, conservation areas, and national parks amass over 2 million visitors annually, generating revenues exceeding VND 100 billion. This sector offers vast potential for tourism enterprises to explore and develop distinctive tour routes for advancement.
