With a massive number of drones, each team commands a minimum of 1,000 drones in a choreographed dance of light and color. For 15 to 20 minutes, these luminous swarms will paint the heavens, their movements perfectly synchronized to pulsating, modern musical performances unfolding on the ground below. Under the theme "Brilliant Galaxy," this first-of-its-kind competitive drone light show will transport you to a realm where technology and imagination collide.
The Nha Trang 2024 International Bay of Lights Festival will take place over two nights, July 13 and July 20, 2024, at two different locations. The opening ceremony and the first competitive performance night between the teams from South Korea and China, with the theme "Glamour Nha Trang," will be held at April 2nd Square in Nha Trang City on the evening of July 13. The second competitive performance night between the teams from France and the UAE, themed "Night of the Wonders," along with the closing ceremony, will be held at Vinpearl Harbour on the evening of July 20. Before each performance night, there will be rehearsals for the teams.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee affirmed: "The Nha Trang 2024 International Bay of Lights Festival is the flagship event of Khanh Hoa province's summer tourism season in 2024. This is the first large-scale competitive drone light show organized in Vietnam and also the first in Southeast Asia.
The participating teams will design and perform shows featuring images of historical sites, culture, and tourist landmarks characteristic of Nha Trang. This will provide the audience with a visual experience of a vivid overall picture narrated through the language of artistic light, full of emotion and high interactivity. It promises to create performances that resonate with both tourists and locals, helping visitors better understand the beautiful, friendly, and hospitable land of Khanh Hoa province.
