The picturesque landscapes of Tay Ninh in Southern Vietnam have received a gem of an attraction in the form of Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park. Within this lush expanse, over 700 distinct plant species have found their home, coexisting with 49 species of mammals, 203 types of birds, and 53 varieties of reptiles. This harmonious cohabitation has transformed the park into a biodiversity hotspot.
Notably, at the 15th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on the Environment held in October 2019, Lo Go-Xa Mat earned the prestigious title of an ASEAN Heritage Park, marking its place among the top ten heritage parks in Vietnam and the sole representative from the southeastern region.

However, Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park isn't just a haven for biodiversity. It holds historical significance as well, encompassing key sites from the anti-US resistance war period. These include the headquarters of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam, the Liberation News Agency, the Liberation Radio Station, and the Liberation Film Studio, to name a few.
Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Tran Thi Huy Hoang, shared that the park now offers a diverse range of eco-tourism activities that are not only enthralling for visitors but are also suitable for educational and scientific research purposes.

Besides, you can immerse yourself in the tranquil riverbank landscapes along the Vam Co Dong River. The vision for Tay Ninh, from 2023 to 2025, is to identify key tourist attractions and outstanding festival events that will carve a distinctive niche on the Vietnamese tourism map. Among these attractions, the special national historical site at the Central Office for South Vietnam, nestled within Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park, holds pride of place. The other three key attractions include Ba Den Mountain, Cao Dai temple, and Dau Tieng Reservoir, Southeast Asia's largest man-made reservoir.
