Nuoc Mooc stream is located on 20 Quyet Thang street, belonging to the west branch of Ho Chi Minh trail, about 10km to the northwest from Phong Nha tourism center. Following the winding road with the green color of mountains and forest, tourists will see the steam lying between the valleys of towering limestone-mountains, stretching along the Chay River for about 3km. The center of the stream is about 350 meters in width. This place is the convergence of different colors of nature with rivers, lakes, streams, and waterfalls.

That explains why Ly Son is called the kingdom of garlic.


The island has a diverse ecosystem. It has five mountains, namely Thoi Loi, Gieng Tien, Hon Vung, Hon Soi and Hoi Tai. The magnificent mountains entice tourists by mysterious caves, imposing waterfalls, and splendid rivers and lakes. The mountainsides covered with green cornfields are studded with old, charming ruong houses.  Along the mountains are stunning beaches full of colorful rocks, pebbles and corals. Nestled in the Thoi Li Mountain is the Hang Pagoda, a peaceful sanctuary with ancient architecture surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Son Doong cave is getting its international fame thanks to a recent recognition of ABC Channel of America. It is one of the world’s biggest known caves which attracts a number of thrill-seekers from all around the world to come and discover. It is so massive that even a Boeing 747 is able to fly through, stretching over 5km, reaching up to 200m tall and 150m wide. 


However, it is not easy as we thought it would be and does require highly adventurous spirit and good health to conquer in. Keep in mind that protective equipment and cables are required in use before you start. Although Son Doong is quite challenging, it is all worthwhile for such unique and grandiose beauty of nature.
